Flourish by helping others develop even healthier relationships

During April, help 1 colleague experience even healthier relationships! Why? Because helping a colleague develop even healthier relationships helps both you and your colleague to get flourishing.

How can you help a colleague develop even healthier relationships? What comes to mind for us includes:

(1) Praying for a colleague to develop even healthier relationships.

(2) Introducing your colleague to a counterpart in another international Christian school.

(3) Inviting your colleague to eat lunch with you.

(4) Modeling transparency, vulnerability, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability, and an appreciation for different cultural backgrounds.

(5) Sharing that human beings need 4 types of relational nutrients.

(6) Suggesting books you’ve found helpful (Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Crucial Conversations, The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, and Radical Candor).

(7) Asking questions, for example: Why would a reasonable, rational, decent person do that? What’s the real challenge here for you?

(8) Sharing with a colleague how you used Quick Win to develop a plan for even healthier relationships.

(9) Encouraging a colleague (possibly a leader) to consider developing an Organizational Culture Map that describes your school culture in terms of values and practices.

Bottom line? Get flourishing by helping 1 colleague develop even healthier relationships!

Get flourishing!
